Christmas Gift Certificate
A Love Map is handmade, and that takes time—usually a few weeks from sketch to finished product. Would you still like to put something tangible under the tree this year? Order a gift certificate: you’ll receive a beautiful card to present, and after the holidays, I’ll start drawing.
How it works:
Order a gift certificate in the size of your choice (A4, A3, or A2)
Receive a digital gift certificate, valid for the selected size
After the holidays, you can contact us to share the stories that will be featured on the map
I start with a sketch and then finish the love map using watercolor and ink.

METHOD
Step by step
1. Application
Send a message using the form below or an email to illustrations@aureliedeckers.com
2. Tell your story
We can arrange this online, or you can email me all the details: places, dates, travel, traditions, hobbies… The questionnaire below can help if you’re not sure where to start. The more details you provide, the more personalized the result will be.
3. Initial sketch & feedback
Based on your input, I'll make a pencil sketch. You can let me know if you'd like any changes before we move forward.
4. Colors & Watercolor Rendering
I’ll present two color options.
Once a choice has been made, I’ll fully develop the illustration using watercolor and ink on high-quality, sturdy paper.
5. Packaging & Shipping
The illustration will be carefully packaged and shipped with tracking.
You will also receive a digital scan via email.

What's on a love map?

Anything is possible! The place where you met or where you went on your honeymoon. But you could just as easily give a love map as a gift to your sister, parents, or in-laws.
Can I give a gift certificate?

Absolutely! You can find gift certificates in my shop. After payment, you'll receive a digital file that you can print out and give to the recipient. The recipient can then contact me later to let me know what they'd like on their love map.
What if I want to focus on a single memory?

In that case, I recommend choosing an illustration or a portrait based on a photo,

Can I use a love map as a wedding invitation?
