Meet the Artist

My name is Aurelie. I create live watercolor portraits, illustrations, and window drawings. I live in Paris, but I also love coming back home to Leuven.

When I'm not at my drawing board, you can find me in museums and cafes, armed with my sketchbook, tea and cake.

How I Can Add Color to Your Moment

Romantic, hand-painted wedding invitation in watercolor. A hand holds a drawing of a couple, surrounded by green bushes and a colorful background.

A unique gift for a couple getting married. A two-part drawing of two men—one in a gray suit and one in a red suit—walking down a staircase. A watercolor illustration as a surprise.

Why choose a hand-painted illustration or portrait?

In a world full of prints, filters, and endless scrolling, a hand-painted portrait remains something genuine. Every line, every color choice is applied by hand. No two portraits are ever the same.

It's not just a photo you store away somewhere, but a unique piece of art that you hang on the wall, look at even years later, and that brings back a moment or a memory every single time.

Live portrait of two women in colorful dresses, beneath a garland and flowers

From the moment we met to the delivery of the portraits. Aurelie designed part of our wedding invitations and thank-you cards, and she was also there on our wedding day to sketch our guests. And WOW, that was a huge hit.
